Millennium Records was officially founded in 1997, after quite humble beginnings... We literally started with
one banana box full of titles that were double in our private collections and we discovered this was “our thing”
- meeting like-minded people. Through a sheer passion for music and also because we want to “keep vinyl alive”.
The name was NOT thought of, because at that time the Millennium was coming (in 3 years’ time) – we were not
as smart/commercial as that ! – but because we were looking for a strong name, which would not represent Hardrock and
Metal only. “Millennium” was a song by Killing Joke at the time.
Today, after more than 200 record fairs in the BeNeLux and Germany, it is still a great way of living: record fairs and
rock festivals in the weekends and mail order activities during the week. Through the years we have sent thousands of parcels with
LP’s, CD’s etc. to customers in the BeNeLux, all other west-European countries, America, Canada, Japan,
Australia and more “exotic” places like Taiwan, Israel, South-Africa and Croatia. And we have met and come
to know many great people!
Millennium Records is all about rock and metal and we specialize in 2nd hand. We rather have many titles than many
copies and we are proud to say we have the largest collection in the BeNeLux.
We specialize in 2nd hand, but of course it is possible to order NEW all genres of music (CD/DVD/vinyl/video/MC) through Millennium
Records. You’ll find the prices reasonable! Because we do not have a shop we can offer at lower prices.
